Art and Prose section

Just making room for all those aspiring artists. In their own section, they can post their work, ask for critique, and increase their art ability. I feel like just leaving everything in Random Chat will cause some art and prose threads to be washed away in a torrent of debates, polls, chats, or nonsense threads before anyone can really look at them. that is, once the site starts bustling with life

This is a good idea for those who enjoy the spriting.

Art and Prose, yeah. Creativity board would work as well as a name I guess.

Okay, great. I liek this Idea, but the Board is too small right now to add anything else. Once we get, say something lke 15 - 20 members.

If you ever make an Art section, could there be writing, too? ;]

Yes, I would proabably call it creativity, so people could post photos, sculpting, graphics, writing, everything like that.

So art and prose technically covers everything too (As sculpting, photography, traditional and graphix design all fall under Art, while creative writing, novels, poems, short stories, etc all fall under Prose)
Creativity board is easier for newbies to understand though as it's simpler.
Though when it is created it probably needs a rules thread too.
(Despite some things being obvious, like no art theft & only post your own work, some people will still do it)

Ya, I would most definetly add some rules. Mostly for Photography

haha oh yeah, I can see where that would definitely need some censoring...
although some rules can be shared for all art forms.
Such as restrictions on posting innapropriate images. I am in an art class and one of my paintings has a revealing. Despite nothing being shown due to excellent placement of hair and foliage, I still wouldn't post it on the web without some warning.
But then you have other people with no sense of modesty.....
